Pharmacy + Comics = THIS!

I’m a pharmacist. I love comic books and someday maybe I’ll have my own comic book to be proud of. Every time somebody ask me: what’s the link between pharmacy and comics?! I answer every time that it hasn’t have to be a connection.

But recently I found one: some informative comic books about the alcohol and drug misuse published by LIFELINE Charity.
In a couple of words they describe themselves: ‘We work with individuals, families and communities both to prevent and reduce harm, to promote recovery, and to challenge the inequalities linked to alcohol and drug misuse’.

You can read or order them (even if they aim to sell them to pharmacies, hospitals or to other health services providers) by clicking each one of them at the end of this article.
They are really funny, their main target are the users, but if you’re curious to find out more about this kind of substances you can do it quick (they are 2 to 8 pages maximum) and in a amusing way.

I don’t think that something like that can ever be done in Romania, people may say that this kind of publications are trying to convince people to start using the substances. It’s all about mentalities.
